God called Abram. God called Moses. God called Deborah. God called Samuel. God called Ruth. God called Isaiah. God called Elizabeth. God called Mary. God called Simon and the other disciples. God called Saul. God called Ananias. God called Lydia.
One of the most persistent things God does across the Bible is call people. We can be sure that God is probably going to call us too. How can we be alert, learn all we can about how it happened, and happens?
In this two-session study, we will examine God’s call, first through several biblical stories and then through our experience now.
We’re not focusing on the call to be pastors. God’s call is much broader than that. We’re talking about God’s call to each of us to do whatever God has in mind in the situations we occupy.
