Here I am. Throughout the course of Scripture and Christian history, these three simple words have changed the course of many a person's life. Responding to the call of God, even amid doubts or hesitations, begins a life-changing moment. For Mary and Moses, Samuel and Isaiah, all of whom were young when God's call intersected their lives, these three words expressed their willingness to put their lives in God's hands.
This study explores what it means to say "Here I am, Lord." We need to understand our context, who we are, and who God is in order to reply. Through reading Scripture and thinking about these three aspects of call, youth try to make some important connections as they reflect on their response to God and their ability to say, "Here I am."
