The growing number of tragic, gruesome mass murders in public places in the United States has provoked a much- needed national dialogue on gun violence. This one-session youth study, "Preventing Gun Violence," separates fact from fiction and teaches youth to consider various proposals in consideration to control the spread of gun violence. Youth will also have an opportunity to develop their own position on gun control and consider what they might do together to create change.
