  • As a parent, you might have actually read and enjoyed the book Twilight. Love it or hate it, it is likely that if you have a teenager in your house, you are aware of this current craze. This study will help parents take advantage of their child's keen interest in Twilight by encouraging them to use scenes and themes from the movie to raise the often uncomfortable topics of temptation and self-control with their teens.

Parents are encouraged to share a time when they succeeded (or failed) in resisting the temptation to do something. And they are challenged to consider the importance of not just telling the truth, but of accepting the truth even when they don't want to hear it--a tough lesson for any parent to learn.
