This book has been meticulously composed with the intention of utilizing the Expository-Narrative Method, enabling readers to comprehend the text and immerse themselves in the narrative as if they were experiencing their own story. The interpretation is approached not only from the standpoint of the primary narrator, the biblical author, but also from the perspective of the secondary narrator, the author of this curriculum. By skillfully intertwining formal and colloquial language, as well as past and present tense, the book aims to preserve the dynamism of the sentences and the contextual nature of the primary content. Commencing with the servitude exemplified by Jesus Christ, this material offers a journey to discover the essence of service as a tangible and practical reality, transcending mere textual representation, through various episodes from both the Old and New Testaments. By examining, interpreting, and implementing each episode from the perspective of service, small groups that engage in reading and dialogue will be empowered to make significant strides toward spiritual maturity. It is our aspiration that by convening in small groups monthly to read, contemplate, and share insights, participants will courageously eliminate elements that hinder service and become a community embodying servitude, emulating the inclusive example set by Jesus Christ.

섬김

본 교재는 강해적 내러티브 방식(Expository-Narrative Method)을 기반으로 본문을 강해하고 내러티브의 옷을 입혀 읽는 것만으로도 자신의 이야기처럼 읽혀지게 하려는 목적을 갖고 집필했습니다. 제1의 내레이터인 성경 저자의 입장 뿐 아니라 제2의 내레이터인 필자의 입장에서 본문을 접근하여 해석하였고, 문어체와 구어체 그리고 과거와 현재 시제를 적절하게 교차하여 사용함으로 문장의 다이나믹성과 본문의 현장성을 살리고자 노력했습니다. 이 교재는 예수님께서 친히 보여주신 섬김을 시작으로 구약과 신약의 다양한 에피소드들을 통해 문자로서의 섬김이 아니라 실재적이며 실천적 실체로서의 섬김의 해답을 찾아가는 여정을 제공할 것입니다. 각 과의 에피소드를 섬김이라는 관점으로 접근하고 해석하고 삶으로 적용할 수 있도록 했기에 소그룹에서 읽고 대화를 나눈다면 신앙의 성숙을 향한 새로운 도약을 경험하게 될 것입니다. 한 달에 한 번 소그룹으로 모여서 읽고 묵상하고 나눔을 통해 섬김을 방해하는 요소들을 과감히 끊어버림으로서 예수님을 닮은 섬김의 사람, 섬김의 공동체가 되길 소원합니다.
