  • Of course we'd all like to be tax exempt, but there may be a different kind of price to pay when a church must limit its involvement in and messages relating to important political and societal issues.

    This study for adults participants will examine the historical rationale of tax exemptions for religious organizations. Where did the practice come from? Is it fair? How is exemption or non-exemption beneficial for or detrimental to the church? To the community?
