Books of the Old Testament

The Books of the Old Testament infographic poster traces the traditions and practices that led to the multiple translations of the oral and written texts. Different faith communities then determined which books to include in their canon, or Bible. In bookshelf format, the books of the Old Testament, or Hebrew Scriptures, that are part of the Protestant canon are presented by title, genre, and section of Jewish traditions in which they fall. A few fun facts are peppered throughout the poster. Finally, the Apocrypha is explained, and a list of its books is included.
