Numerous signs point to a growing world energy crisis. Despite some continued denial by powerful world leaders, we have learned what we didn't know before--fossil fuels such as oil and coal are in limited supply and are extremely harmful to the environment and human and animal life. Many Christians and others are aware of this but feel powerless to do anything about it. This study attempts to help get us to some concrete action steps.
Session 1 explains what the continued reliance on fossil fuels for our energy needs is doing to our world and discusses the huge task ahead. Session 2 is filled with information and ideas, big and small, for individuals and groups to begin the task of slowing our use of nonrenewable resources and encouraging the development of more life-sustaining ones.
