David Buttrick is Drucilla Moore Buffington Professor Emeritus of Homiletics and Liturgics at Vanderbilt Divinity School in Nashville, Tennessee. He is the author of many books, including Preaching the New and the Now and Speaking Jesus, both published by WJK.
