The idea of same-sex marriage and the question of its appropriateness is prevalent in our culture and media today. It's also important for the church to be willing to address this topic with youth and discuss their questions and concerns. This one- session youth study helps youth examine different perspectives they might encounter about same-sex marriage in an open, discussion-oriented way. The leader's guide prepares the leader to facilitate the discussion and provides information regarding the current legal status of same-sex marriage and ongoing legal debates, differing perspectives on same-sex marriage, and scriptural arguments supporters and opponents often use. A case study is also included.
