Whether undertaken as a spiritual exercise, an act of devotion, or a learning experience, pilgrimage is a powerful journey that leads us through unknown territory and exquisite landscapes and sometimes challenges to a place of divine-human encounter and spiritual transformation. It is the essence of Christian discipleship.
