Hebrew: Jesus encountering us newly
Hebrews is not just an epistle. It is a grand sermon preached to the early church believers who were in fear and loosing heart surrounded by hostile world. It proclaims that Jesus Christ is the final Word of God incarnated at the end of the days. Calvin described this mystery this way: “God whom we are not able to know and to see visited to be with us as Son of God”. Jesus Christ who was humiliated on the cross and humbled lower than angels is a glorious victor sitting on the right hand of God. Let us press on our race fixing our eyes on Jesus Christ, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.

히브리1 436;: 다시 새롭게 만나야 할 예수
히브리1 436;는 일반적인 서신이 아니라 핍박과 시련 중에 있는 초대교회 그리스도 인들에게 예수 그리스도 의 영광의 복음을 선포한 장엄하고 영감에 찬 설교이다 . 예수 그리스도 는 육신을 입고 참 인간이 되사 인생을 찾아오신 최종적인 하나님의 말씀이시 다. 칼벵은 이 신비한 진리를 이렇게 말한다. “ 우리가 볼 수도 없고 알 수도 없는 무한 하신 하늘 아버지께 서 당신의 아들을 통해 우리들에 게 가시적으 로 나타나셨 다”. 예수님은 우리를 구원하시 기 위해 십자가위 에 죽임을 당하사 가장 낮은 자리에 까지 내려가신 분이지만 사망의 권세를 이기시고 부활 승천하사 영광의 면류관을 쓰시고 하나님 우편에 앉으신 승리자이 시다. 믿음의 주요 또 온전케 하시는 예수를 바라보며 믿음의 경주를 달려가자 .
