French fries or locusts? Organic pork or Mountain Dew? Kosher beef or tofu? What teens do and don't eat makes a big difference depending on choices about taste, faith, the environment, and who is eating with them. But how should they decide among all the choices?
In this one-session study, teens look at biblical food laws to understand the importance of using the lens of faith to think about eating habits. Taking into account factors like health, taste, cost, and advertising, youth are encouraged to begin making choices for themselves about what they put into their bodies--and what they don't. Group discussion also focuses on how not to be a "stumbling block" to those who make different food choices. A helpful Leader's Guide includes a variety of teaching options including eating different types of meals together.
