David H. Jensen is Professor in the Clarence N. and Betty R. Frierson Distinguished Chair of Reformed Theology at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. He is the author or editor of several books, including Responsive Labor: A Theology of Work; The Lord and Giver of Life: Perspectives on Constructive Pneumatology; Living Hope: The Future and Christian Faith; God, Desire, and a Theology of Human Sexuality; 1 and 2 Samuel in the Belief series. He is an active member of the American Academy of Religion and speaks regularly in academic and church settings.
