Three religious traditions look to Abraham as the "father of faith" in one sense or another: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. In the New Testament, both James and Paul consider Abraham an important model to Christianity. Since Abraham is such an important figure, it is fitting that we examine more closely Abraham as a model of faith.
This one-session study reviews what we know about Abraham from the Bible and examines the relationship Abraham had with God. It gives some clues about that relationship that can inform our lives of faith today.
This study is part of the "Figures in the Old Testament Study Pack."
