The recent crisis in the financial industry and global economy has revealed some of the corrupt practices in banking and investments that have helped to bring about this economic shift. As a result, Christians are faced with the moral challenge of how to react and how to rethink their participation in banking and investing. This one-session, adult study reveals some of these practices and discusses them in the historical context of usury--money lending at interest--which has historically been prohibited among Christians, Jews, and Muslims. The value of money and how to faithfully invest money are also discussed.
