"Religion and Politics Study Pack II" consists of three one-session studies and one four-session study. It is not necessary to have previously studied "Religion and Politics Study Pack I" to enjoy this resource.
The one-session studies are each authored by Ed Long, and the Leader's Guides are by Martha Bettis-Gee. They include: "How Should Christians Vote?" "Separation of Church and State in America," and "Christians and Patriotism."
The four-session study is "Challenges to U.S. Democracy," authored by Megan Pillow Davis. After first looking at principles of democracy, she examines some of the growing contradictions in U.S. democracy, such as campaign financing and earmarks added to congressional budgets.
