Sylvia Washer is a former executive presbyter for Mission Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A). She has also served as church educator at the John Knox and Heights Presbyterian churches in Houston. She has been a curriculum writer and a worshop leader at the presbytery, synod, and General Assembly levels of the PC(USA).
