Under Slaughter's leadership, Ginghamsburg Church has grown from around one hundred members to four thousand, and it has become well-known for its innovations in cyberministry and its Sudan Project, which has raised $4.4 million for humanitarian relief in Darfur. Slaughter is the author of several books, including Change The World: Recovering The Message and Mission of Jesus and Upside Living In a Downside Economy.
