Mary Trainer has been writing about British Columbia people, places, and history for more than thirty-five years. She was a communication coordinator with the Metro Vancouver Regional District for twenty years, has written numerous magazine articles, and has created acrostic puzzles. In 2007, she coauthored what has become a Canadian bestseller, Slumach's Gold: In Search of a Legend, with Brian Antonson and Rick Antonson.
